We are building Nomp for Android from scratch and need a seasoned engineer to lead it. You will design and ship the Android app end-to-end — architecture, Jetpack Compose UI, Supabase integration, push notifications, in-app billing, and live session mechanics. You will work closely with the iOS lead and backend team to keep both platforms feature-parity.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years Android development experience
- ✓Expert in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- ✓Strong understanding of MVVM / MVI architecture
- ✓Experience with Supabase or Firebase real-time data
- ✓In-app billing (Google Play Billing Library v5+)
- ✓Push notifications with FCM
- ✓Unit and UI testing (JUnit5, Espresso, Compose test)
- ✓Comfortable working in a fully remote, async-first team
Nice to have
- +Prior experience building a social or accountability app
- +Familiarity with Ktor or other Kotlin backend frameworks
- +Experience shipping apps to 50k+ users
- +Passion for productivity / digital-wellbeing space
Nomp's backend and web surfaces are growing fast. We need a fullstack engineer to own and extend our Node/TypeScript API (Hono + Supabase), build new admin tooling, and contribute to our Next.js landing and web app. You will ship features across the whole stack — from Postgres schema design to polished React UIs.
Requirements
- ✓4+ years fullstack experience (TypeScript required)
- ✓Strong Node.js backend skills — REST API design, auth, cron jobs
- ✓React / Next.js 14+ App Router proficiency
- ✓PostgreSQL — schema design, RLS, migrations, performance tuning
- ✓Supabase platform (Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime)
- ✓Experience with Stripe or other payment APIs
- ✓Comfortable owning features end-to-end with minimal hand-holding
- ✓Clear async written communication
Nice to have
- +Hono or similar lightweight Node HTTP framework
- +Mobile-first product thinking
- +Prior startup / fast-paced product experience
- +Built and operated cron / background job systems in production
